I see on the horizon a land so far away...

Oh, I've seen in my picture books, a land so far away, where the grass grows and the air feels so nice
A land where the people dance around fires and the words they speak sound so strange
Crossing the mountains and the seas,
Over there, somewhere
All we need is the courage to see where we can go!

When I think of that place and how great it must be,
Then I look at the night sky, see all of my stars and see how bright they could be

I look and I see the path that winds in front of me leads to a very dark grim world
And when I look inside myself I see the initial reason for my journey start to get more blurred
Even when the road looks so dark,
And I, don't know why
If I don't know what comes tomorrow, I'll do my best today!

When I think of that place and how it's far and unknown,
Will I ever reach there, call it my home, will they treat me as their own?

When I look up at the stars,
Why are they, so far away
How much longer should I still wait till I'm there?
My life of aches, full of mistakes
Where I'm blind to what's before me
I look at the sky, sit down on the ground and breathe...

When I think of that place and how great it must be,
When I finally reach that place, and see what it's really like
And I look behind me see all my footsteps see how far I've come!
